Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate ICU Registered Nurse to join our team at Albany Medical Center. As a key member of our Pediatric ICU team, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to a collaborative and supportive work environment.

Responsibilities
  • Implement physician orders and administer medications as required
  • Start IVs, perform treatments, procedures, and special tests
  • Document treatment as required by company policy and local/state/federal rules and regulations
  • Assess and evaluate patient needs for, and responses to, care rendered
  • Apply sound nursing judgment in patient care management decisions
  • Provide primary and emergency care for occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses
  • Collaborate with the nursing team to create a Plan of Care for all patients
  • Direct and guide ancillary personnel and maintain standards of professional nursing
Requirements
  • Graduate of a professional academic nursing program with a Diploma, Associate Degree, or Baccalaureate Degree
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of previous clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care
  • Possesses knowledge of quality concepts, principles, and problem-solving tools and techniques
