Position Overview

The role of the Senior Property Claims Representative is pivotal in ensuring the effective execution of company policies and practices in the management of property claims, including commercial, residential, and agricultural properties. This position aims to enhance the overall service quality provided to clients while fostering business retention.

Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Property Claims Representative, your responsibilities will include:
1. Conducting thorough investigations and evaluations of property and casualty claims with minimal oversight.
2. Maintaining an in-depth understanding of various building types, construction methods, and repair costs, as well as assisting in the training of colleagues on these systems.
3. Keeping abreast of knowledge regarding agricultural machinery, livestock, and household items.

Qualifications

Required:
• A Bachelor’s degree in construction trades, agriculture, business administration, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent experience may be considered.
• A minimum of five to seven years of experience in multi-line or property claims is essential.
• Comprehensive knowledge of insurance contracts and company policies is required.
• Exceptional listening and customer service skills are a must.
• Proficiency in estimating systems and construction methodologies is necessary.
• A valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record is required.

Preferred:
• Professional designations such as CPCU are preferred.

Work Environment

This position primarily operates remotely, covering specific regions. Candidates should have access to high-speed internet for effective communication and service delivery.
