Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Prepare patients for ultrasound procedures, explaining the process and ensuring their comfort and safety.
  • Conduct ultrasound examinations, taking note of patient medical history and any relevant symptoms.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient information, examination results, and any follow-up actions.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest ultrasound technology and techniques, participating in ongoing education and training.
Requirements
  • Current professional license as a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist.
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
  • Valid BLS certification.
  • Specialty-related certifications are preferred and may be required for specific travel positions.
  • RN positions require at least one year of recent experience in the specialty and a like setting.
