Job Overview

Primary Responsibilities:

Under the general oversight of the Food Service Director; assists in meal preparation and serving within a school cafeteria, maintains cleanliness of kitchen equipment and utensils, and performs related tasks as assigned. Please note that there is no guaranteed site assignment for this role; it will be determined by the Food Service Director based on the yearly schedule.

Must possess the ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.

Fingerprint and TB clearance will be mandatory as a condition of employment.
The filling of this position is subject to board approval.
Annual Mandated Reporter Training is required.

Additional Information:

Successful completion of a post-offer pre-employment strength and agility assessment is necessary for placement in this role, even if the applicant is currently employed by the District in another capacity.

Note:
This is an on-call substitute position.

We may reach out to you on the morning of the assignment, but we will strive to provide as much notice as possible.

Typical hours are from 9am to 2:30pm (with some flexibility for earlier preparation if necessary).
