We are seeking a skilled OB Technician to join our team on a per diem basis. As an OB Technician, you will be responsible for assisting in the delivery of babies and providing support to the medical team during surgeries and procedures.
Job Summary:The OB Technician will work closely with the medical team to ensure the smooth operation of the obstetrics department. This includes preparing patients for surgery, assisting with deliveries, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.
Responsibilities:- Assist in the delivery of babies and provide support to the medical team during surgeries and procedures
- Prepare patients for surgery and maintain a clean and safe environment
- Work closely with the medical team to ensure the smooth operation of the obstetrics department
- Provide excellent patient care and maintain a positive attitude
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest medical procedures and technologies
- 1-2 years of experience as an OB Technician
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
