Job Summary:

Oscar Associates is seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex software systems using Ruby on Rails.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop scalable, efficient, and reliable software systems using Ruby on Rails
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements
  • Develop and maintain high-quality code, following best practices and coding standards
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve code quality
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on Ruby on Rails
  • Proven track record of designing and developing complex software systems
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Experience with MySQL and Elasticsearch is a plus

Compensation and Benefits:

  • $150k - $200k salary range
  • $20k - $30k profit sharing bonus
  • Equity (disclosed upon offer)
