Job Summary:

UCI Health is seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures using computed tomography (CT) scanners. This includes preparing patients for exams, operating the CT scanner, and maintaining accurate records of patient information.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform CT scans on patients to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes
  • Prepare patients for exams by explaining procedures, positioning patients, and ensuring patient comfort and safety
  • Operate CT scanners to produce high-quality images, following established protocols and guidelines
  • Maintain accurate records of patient information, including medical history, exam results, and follow-up instructions
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care

Requirements:

  • Current CRT license/certification
  • ARRT license/certification
  • Fluoroscopy license/certification
  • Current BLS certification
  • Competent in venipuncture or venipuncture certification

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited radiology program
