Core Responsibilities
  • Conduct imaging procedures that align with the quality standards set by referring physicians and radiologists.
  • Implement all operational policies and procedures, including daily quality control, equipment management, and radiation safety protocols.
  • Accurately insert intra-catheter needles while maintaining sterile conditions.
  • Administer isotopes and pharmaceuticals in accordance with established guidelines.
  • Adhere to all federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Ensure patient safety while delivering high-quality diagnostic testing.
  • Perform routine quality control checks and maintain required documentation.
  • Follow safety protocols for handling radioactive materials.
  • Document test results and patient histories accurately using electronic medical records.
  • Provide outstanding customer service consistently.
  • Travel to various client locations as scheduled.
  • Fulfill additional responsibilities as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Associate's degree or equivalent certification from an accredited program.
  • CNMT (NM or PET) or ARRT(N) Certification.
  • BLS Certification.
  • State licensure in good standing, if applicable.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Ability to manage and transport heavy medical equipment.
Working Conditions

Work is conducted in outpatient testing centers, hospitals, clinics, and physician offices with moderate to high patient volumes. Technologists must be prepared to travel in various weather conditions.

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Capability to walk, stoop, turn, and lift up to 50 lbs.
Occupational Exposure

There is a minimal risk of radiation exposure during nuclear medicine procedures when following proper protocols. Clinical duties may involve exposure to bloodborne pathogens or other infectious materials, and protective equipment is mandatory.
