POSITION OVERVIEW

The Cardiac Care Registered Nurse plays a crucial role in the comprehensive planning, execution, and assessment of nursing services for patients with cardiac conditions. This position entails delivering direct patient care, engaging in educational initiatives, and assuming leadership responsibilities while actively participating in collaborative decision-making and quality enhancement efforts.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Must hold a valid Registered Nurse (RN) or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) license in the State of Florida.
  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is mandatory, obtained from recognized organizations such as the American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
  • Newly hired RNs will be enrolled in the RN Residency Program to facilitate their professional development.
  • Proficient in basic computer skills, including the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Windows operating systems.
