POSITION SUMMARY:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Partnership and Sponsorship Management
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships that positively influence the community and promote the House of Sport brand pillars: assortment, experience, service, and community.
- Assist local partners through sponsorships that generate comprehensive value through awareness, engagement, traffic, and sales.
- Oversee the management and tracking of all sponsorship agreements and asset distribution utilizing appropriate software.
- Ensure effective execution of sponsorship commitments with leagues, teams, and organizations to maximize return on investment.
- Develop unique strategies for in-store events and market activations aligned with key brand moments.
- Manage local budget and associated expenses effectively.
Local Marketing Initiatives
- Create and implement local marketing outreach strategies to enhance awareness and customer acquisition.
- Provide consistent and insightful market intelligence to inform future strategies.
- Support the development of event activation materials for store displays and scheduling platforms.
- Oversee customer outreach through reservation scheduling tools.
Event and Program Management
- Assist in executing all marketing activities, vendor events, and related initiatives as required.
- Act as a liaison between House of Sport, CSC, and external partners to ensure exemplary execution of programs from inception to completion.
- Responsible for capturing content from owned events for use on national social media channels and other owned platforms.
- Evaluate each initiative qualitatively and quantitatively, report findings, and proactively recommend improvements.
Community Engagement and Philanthropy
- Represent The DICK'S Sporting Goods Foundation in local community giving and charitable initiatives.
- Utilize The DICK'S Sporting Goods Foundation to benefit the local community through equipment donations, community grants, and programming for leagues and teams in need.
- Assess and fulfill donation requests from the local community.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business Administration, or Communications.
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in regional marketing, brand ambassadorship, or a retail environment.
- Valid driver's license is required.
- Must successfully pass comprehensive background checks.
- Strong interpersonal and team collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently in a dynamic environment.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, with some travel required.
