We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Cashier to join our team at Mountaineer Casino Resort. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for handling patron financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all cash handling activities.

• Validate tickets and exchange them for cash or chips
• Perform cash advances, check cashing, and make change for guests
• Account for all transactions and balance the cash drawer to ensure accuracy
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Shift Manager or Manager of Cage and Credit Ops

• Excellent communication skills and a neat appearance at all times
• Ability to work with others as a team in an efficient manner
• Availability to work all shifts
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must be at least 21 years old
• Ability to obtain a Level 2 Table Games License and a VLT Validation Manager License through the WV Lottery
• Ability to pass a background investigation and obtain and maintain a WV Racing License

High School Diploma or equivalent required. Prefer six months of cash handling experience or equivalent. General knowledge of Federal Currency Transaction Reporting (CTR) regulations and requirements.

Ability to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time. Ability to push, pull, kneel, twist, carry, and lift up to 40 pounds.

Will be exposed to working in a noisy, smoke/secondary smoke environment and seasonal elements.
