Position Overview:
As a Mobile Imaging Specialist, you will conduct portable diagnostic imaging procedures across diverse environments to assist in the evaluation and treatment of medical conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
Your daily activities will encompass:
- Traveling to various locations to perform mobile x-ray and EKG examinations.
- Adhering to all organizational policies and protocols during imaging procedures.
- Collecting and confirming necessary documentation and patient details prior to examinations.
- Preparing and positioning patients for imaging procedures.
- Operating portable imaging equipment at the patient's location.
- Determining exposure settings based on patient characteristics and imaging requirements.
- Practicing safety measures related to the role, including driving safety and infection control.
- Preparing images for review by radiologists or referring physicians.
- Processing and evaluating images for diagnostic quality before submission.
- Maintaining accurate records and logs of work performed.
- Conducting routine maintenance and cleaning of imaging equipment.
- Ensuring the vehicle is adequately stocked with necessary supplies.
- Complying with all relevant regulations regarding portable imaging procedures.
- Training and orienting new staff as requested.
- Assisting with administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Possess a valid state-issued driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift and move equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Capability to navigate stairs while carrying equipment.
- Flexibility to work varied schedules, including evenings and weekends.
