  • Adhering to all organizational policies and protocols during imaging procedures.
  • Collecting and confirming necessary documentation and patient details prior to examinations.
  • Preparing and positioning patients for imaging procedures.
  • Operating portable imaging equipment at the patient's location.
  • Determining exposure settings based on patient characteristics and imaging requirements.
  • Practicing safety measures related to the role, including driving safety and infection control.
  • Preparing images for review by radiologists or referring physicians.
  • Processing and evaluating images for diagnostic quality before submission.
  • Maintaining accurate records and logs of work performed.
  • Conducting routine maintenance and cleaning of imaging equipment.
  • Ensuring the vehicle is adequately stocked with necessary supplies.
  • Complying with all relevant regulations regarding portable imaging procedures.
  • Training and orienting new staff as requested.
  • Assisting with administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Possess a valid state-issued driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to lift and move equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Capability to navigate stairs while carrying equipment.
  • Flexibility to work varied schedules, including evenings and weekends.
