Job Overview

Cragun's Legacy Courses is seeking dedicated and enthusiastic individuals to support our golf operations during the fall season. This is a full-time (seasonal) role with an expected commitment of 35-45 hours per week. The position primarily involves outdoor responsibilities for 3 to 4 shifts, with additional hours inside the golf shop.

Position Summary

The main objective of this role is to assist in all aspects of the golf operation, focusing on leading our outdoor service team. Additional responsibilities may include training as a starter/ranger and assisting with Pro Shop tasks such as tee time scheduling, sales, merchandising, and inventory management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor junior outdoor service staff as a shift supervisor.
  • Deliver a consistent and positive customer service experience for members, guests, and the public.
  • Exhibit strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Effectively manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
  • Address guest concerns and respond appropriately.
  • Handle phone inquiries, schedule tee times, and manage sales and other golf shop operations.
  • Utilize communication tools such as iPads and two-way radios to coordinate with golf operations personnel.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in the golf industry is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Interest in advancing within the golf sector.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office, Fore UP, Golf Genius, and USGA handicap software is advantageous but not essential.
  • Strong attention to detail is crucial.
