Position Details:

Job Responsibilities:
- Utilize a microscope to ensure accurate part placement and orientation, manually align components prior to soldering, and conduct post-reflow inspections and adjustments.
- Detect and rectify soldering problems, including inadequate solder joints, solder voids, insufficient solder, solder shorts/bridges, misaligned components, and other defects arising during the SMT process.
- Familiarity with Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) tools to identify soldering defects and distinguish between false alarms and genuine issues.
- Ability to interpret instructions and recognize standard SMT components.
Essential Qualifications:
- Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment with potential overtime requirements.
- Ability to maintain focus on detailed tasks for extended periods.
- Experience with rework tools such as hot air pencils, hot plates, and BGA removal devices (ERSA or equivalent).
- Background in soldering and securing jumper wires on redesigned boards is advantageous.
- IPC-610 Certification (either current or expired) is mandatory.
- IPC J-STD-001 Certification (either current or expired) is mandatory.
- IPC-A-610: Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience required.
- IPC-J-STD: Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience required.
- Soldering: Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience required.
