About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the lead teacher in creating a nurturing and engaging learning environment for our toddler students. This will involve assisting with lesson planning, implementing educational activities, and maintaining a safe and healthy classroom environment.

Responsibilities

  • Support the lead teacher in planning and implementing educational activities for toddlers
  • Assist with daily classroom routines, including snack time, nap time, and outdoor play
  • Help maintain a safe and healthy classroom environment, including cleaning and organizing the classroom
  • Communicate effectively with parents and colleagues to ensure a smooth and successful learning experience for our students

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; early childhood education degree or certification preferred
  • Previous experience working with toddlers in a childcare or educational setting
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
