We are a leading provider of early childhood education, and we are currently seeking a qualified Toddler Teacher Assistant to join our team at Cadence Academy Preschool of Glen Oak.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the lead teacher in creating a nurturing and engaging learning environment for our toddler students. This will involve assisting with lesson planning, implementing educational activities, and maintaining a safe and healthy classroom environment.
Responsibilities
- Support the lead teacher in planning and implementing educational activities for toddlers
- Assist with daily classroom routines, including snack time, nap time, and outdoor play
- Help maintain a safe and healthy classroom environment, including cleaning and organizing the classroom
- Communicate effectively with parents and colleagues to ensure a smooth and successful learning experience for our students
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; early childhood education degree or certification preferred
- Previous experience working with toddlers in a childcare or educational setting
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
