Key Responsibilities- Assess patient/family health problems and resources, taking a leadership role in the development, implementation, and outcomes evaluation of a plan for nursing care.
- Provide professional nursing care and interventions to acutely ill adult patient populations via the mobile stroke program.
- Organize and prioritize patient care activities balanced with the needs and comfort of the patient.
- Demonstrate accountability for own ethical behavior and support ethical practice by addressing and/or escalating issues.
- Serve as an advocate for patients' needs by demonstrating holistic care practices.
- Recognize and adapt to changes in patients' condition in a timely and clinically appropriate manner.
- Utilize SBAR format tool to notify physicians and other providers of clinical findings.
- Delegate tasks based on the needs of the patient, potential for harm, patient stability, task complexity, and outcome predictability within the scope of skill set and practice.
- AZ RN license or RN License from a Compact State
- ADN; BSN preferred
- American Heart Association BLS certification
- American Heart Association ACLS certification
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Must demonstrate genuine kindness and compassion for all individuals who enter our hospital
