Key Responsibilities
  • Assess patient/family health problems and resources, taking a leadership role in the development, implementation, and outcomes evaluation of a plan for nursing care.
  • Provide professional nursing care and interventions to acutely ill adult patient populations via the mobile stroke program.
  • Organize and prioritize patient care activities balanced with the needs and comfort of the patient.
  • Demonstrate accountability for own ethical behavior and support ethical practice by addressing and/or escalating issues.
  • Serve as an advocate for patients' needs by demonstrating holistic care practices.
  • Recognize and adapt to changes in patients' condition in a timely and clinically appropriate manner.
  • Utilize SBAR format tool to notify physicians and other providers of clinical findings.
  • Delegate tasks based on the needs of the patient, potential for harm, patient stability, task complexity, and outcome predictability within the scope of skill set and practice.
Requirements
  • AZ RN license or RN License from a Compact State
  • ADN; BSN preferred
  • American Heart Association BLS certification
  • American Heart Association ACLS certification
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Must demonstrate genuine kindness and compassion for all individuals who enter our hospital
