About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Short Stay Surgical Unit at Providence Portland Medical Center. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to surgical patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
  • Oregon Registered Nurse License upon hire.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
  • 1 year Nursing experience.
