Job Summary

AmeriGas is seeking a skilled and safety-minded Delivery Representative to join our team. As a Delivery Representative, you will play a vital role in delivering propane to our customers while ensuring the highest standards of safety and customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safely Operate a Propane Delivery Truck: You will be responsible for safely operating a propane delivery truck along provided delivery routes.
  • Filling Residential and/or Commercial Bulk Tanks: You will fill residential and/or commercial bulk tanks with propane, ensuring accurate measurements and efficient delivery.
  • Delivering Propane Cylinders: You will deliver propane cylinders to commercial/industrial customers, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
  • Perform Daily Functions in a Safe Manner: You will perform all daily functions in a safe manner by adhering to all federal and state codes and regulations, as well as all AmeriGas Safety and Operations Policies and Procedures.
  • Consistent Use of Required Personal Protective Equipment: You will consistently use required Personal Protective Equipment to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Flexible Work Schedule: Depending on fluctuating needs, you may work 8 to 12-hour shifts.

Requirements
  • Valid Class A or B CDL with Hazmat and Tanker Endorsements: Possess a valid class A or B CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements.
  • Acceptable Driving Record: Maintain an acceptable driving record.
  • Satisfactory Completion of a DOT Physical and Drug Test: Satisfactorily complete a DOT physical and drug test.
  • Willingness to Work Outdoors in All Weather Conditions: Be willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Ability to Lift Up to 70 lbs: Possess the ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
