Position: Senior Medical Laboratory Technologist
Full-time, day shift (7am - 3:30pm, every other weekend and rotating holidays)
$5,000 Sign-on Bonus

As a Senior Medical Laboratory Technologist at Scranton Hospital Company, you will be an integral part of a team committed to enhancing patient care and outcomes.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology is mandatory.

Preference is given to graduates from an accredited Medical Technologist or Medical Lab Technician program who have successfully passed a national examination administered by the Board of Registry of the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP).


Other acceptable certifying bodies include:

Health, Education, & Welfare (HEW). Candidates with a Bachelor's, Master's, or Associate's degree in a related discipline (biological or chemical sciences) who are eligible for certification as a Medical Technologist (ASCP) will also be considered. A minimum of three (3) years of experience in Chemistry, Hematology, Microbiology, Histology, or Blood Bank is required.

Six years (6) of laboratory experience is essential.

Role Overview:
This position reports directly to the Laboratory Director.
Oversee the daily operations of the Hematology, Coagulation, and Urinalysis sections within a dynamic hospital laboratory environment.
Collaborate with other section leads to ensure that quality standards are consistently upheld.
