Job Summary:

Touro University New York is seeking a highly qualified Adjunct, Law to teach graduate law courses. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering lectures, supervising student work, and participating in curriculum development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and deliver lectures to law students, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of course material.
  • Supervise and grade student work, providing constructive feedback to enhance learning outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain course materials, including syllabi, homework assignments, and tests.
  • Maintain office hours to advise and assist students, fostering a supportive learning environment.
  • Participate in assessment activities and curriculum development for law courses, ensuring alignment with university standards.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to address teaching issues, promoting a culture of excellence in education.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Significant teaching experience in law courses, with a proven track record of success.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and effectively.
  • English proficiency, with the ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner.

  • Interpretation and analysis skills, with the ability to make informed decisions and solve complex problems.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, colleagues, and university administrators.

Compensation:

Maximum Salary: USD $7,800.00 per semester

Minimum Salary: USD $5,200.00 per semester
