Job Summary

The Production Scheduler is responsible for developing and managing production schedules to ensure smooth and efficient fabrication processes. This key position reports to the VP Production and requires strong coordination and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with various teams to meet production goals and optimize productive capacity.

• Develop and manage production schedules to meet departmental delivery requirements.
• Coordinate with production, sales, and purchasing teams to adjust production schedules and meet production goals.
• Monitor production progress and make routine reports to production department managers.
• Work with VP Production and Director of Production Planning to resolve potential delays and update schedules based on changes in availability of raw materials and capacity constraints.

Requirements

• Educational Background: Prefer an associate degree in business administration, management, production, or a related field. Experience can be substituted for degree.
• Experience: Minimum 3 years experience as a Production Scheduler, Planner, or similar role in a fabrication or manufacturing environment.
• Travel: Some travel will be required up to 15%.
• Skills: Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and procedures, proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems, excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, ability to multitask, strong communication and negotiation abilities, and decision-making skills.

Salary Information

The estimated salary range for this position is $70,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience.
