About the Position

We are seeking a skilled Meat Cutter to join our team at The Fresh Market. As a Meat Cutter, you will be responsible for managing, cutting, and trimming meat and seafood according to our high standards and customer requests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain knowledge of products and weekly ad items throughout the store and assist customers in finding products and meal solutions.
  • Handle, slice, and expertly cut a variety of meat and seafood products, while managing quality product levels and adhering to our standards.
  • Monitor temperature of cases, spill overs, and storage areas to ensure food safety and quality.
  • Enforce and follow department practices regarding receiving, stocking, and unloading deliveries of product to ensure freshness and quality.
  • Ensure department adherence to all safety requirements and protocols, including food safety, per company policies and laws.
Requirements
  • 2 years or more of experience in cutting meat.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
