Job Summary

This is a full-time position with 10 or 12-hour shifts, along with extra shift opportunities if desired. No calls or weekends are required. General Anesthesia experience in an Ambulatory Surgical setting is highly preferred.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the Anesthesiologist in gathering routine pre-op data
  • Instruct others in principles and practices of anesthesia, respiratory care, and cardio-pulmonary resuscitation as directed by the Anesthesiologist
  • Assist in research projects as carried out by an Anesthesiologist
  • Establish multi-parameter monitoring of patient prior to, during, and after anesthesia or in other acute care situations
  • Manage pre- and post-anesthetic care, including ventilatory support of patients as assigned by an Anesthesiologist
Requirements

Graduate of an accredited Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) or Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant (CAA) Master's Degree program. Must maintain biannual certification through the submission of Continuing Medical Education credits (CMEs).
