Land Surveyor

Job OpportunityWe are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Land Surveyor. As a key member of our Engineering Staffing Solutions team, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality surveying services to our clients.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform boundary, ALTA, easement, deed, and title review, including detailed research at town, county, and state levels.
• Prepare computations packages for field crew and provide specific guidance and instructions as needed.
• Review drafting work performed by Draftsman and draft plats using field data as needed.
• Read, plot, and locate land descriptions pertaining to easements and parcels.
• Familiarity with all phases of surveying, including boundaries, topographic, platting, construction stake-out, etc.
• Collaborate with project team members and operations staff as needed, including assistance with estimated prices for survey projects.
• Interfacing with Clients as needed, in coordination with operations staff.

Requirements

• Minimum/Preferred 2 years of experience.
• Preferred candidates will have a 2 or 4 year degree in surveying.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and/or Carlson Survey.
• Good communication skills (both written and verbal).
• Ability to take direction and grow with the company.
• Detail oriented.
• Professional License holders can be given special consideration, but is not required.
