Key Responsibilities:

Leadership

  • Establish a visible and approachable leadership presence within the clinic, fostering a positive work environment.
  • Address concerns raised by staff, providers, and patients, collaborating with relevant leaders to enhance processes and resolve issues.
  • Maintain proficiency in all electronic health record (EHR) systems utilized at the clinic.
  • Promote and embody the mission, vision, and values of the organization, inspiring others to follow suit; support the implementation of key initiatives.

Financial Oversight

  • Assist in monitoring the operational and financial performance of the clinic.

Operational Management

  • Schedule clinic personnel according to staffing models, ensuring adequate coverage based on patient volume and staff availability.
  • Provide patient care in accordance with professional certification and licensure.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and risk management protocols, as well as personnel policies.
  • Promote a safe and secure environment within the clinic.
  • Oversee the maintenance and appearance of the clinic facilities.
  • Manage inventory levels of clinic supplies.
  • Communicate with medical staff to address provider concerns and enhance support for their responsibilities.
  • Step in to assist with clinical duties as needed, based on qualifications.

Team Development

  • Identify opportunities for professional growth and development for team members.

Human Resource Management

  • Recommend training and development opportunities for staff; assist in the training process.
  • Coordinate initial and ongoing training for clinic personnel, including safety meetings.
  • Handle disciplinary actions and performance counseling.
  • Conduct performance evaluations in collaboration with leadership.
  • Participate in the recruitment and selection process, ensuring effective staffing practices.
  • Facilitate onboarding and orientation for new team members, promoting engagement and productivity.
  • Initiate activities that foster staff and provider engagement, recognizing achievements and supporting professional development.

Patient Engagement

  • Monitor patient interactions to ensure high standards of service and adherence to company policies.
  • Manage processes for addressing patient concerns and complaints, resolving issues as necessary.
  • Actively engage in quality improvement initiatives.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • Education: An Associate's degree in business administration, healthcare administration, or a related field is preferred. A high school diploma or GED is required.
  • Experience: At least one year of leadership experience in a healthcare setting is required; experience in medical group or ambulatory care is preferred.
