Junior Pet Stylist Role

We are seeking a motivated and animal-loving Junior Pet Stylist to join our grooming team. As a Junior Pet Stylist, you will have the opportunity to learn and develop essential grooming skills, working closely with experienced groomers to provide top-notch care for our furry friends.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform limited grooming services, including bathing, drying, nail trimming, brushing, ear cleaning, and gland cleaning, under close supervision.
  • Ensure the well-being and safety of every animal in the salon at all times.
  • Interact professionally and effectively with pet parents, providing optimal customer service and addressing grooming-related inquiries.
  • Maintain a clean and safe grooming area and salon, adhering to Petco's hygiene and sanitation policies.
Training Program Outline:

Our comprehensive training program will equip you with the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed in this role. During the ten-week training period, you will learn dog behavior, pet and self-safety, proper check-in/out procedures, customer service, and grooming policies.
