Job Summary:
We are seeking an exceptional academic leader to join our team as an Associate or Full Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. The successful candidate will have a strong track record of research excellence, a commitment to teaching and mentoring, and a passion for advancing women's health.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a research center evaluating reproduction and women's health, collaborating with faculty and staff to expand and transform existing research initiatives.
- Develop and implement a research agenda that aligns with the department's strategic goals and priorities.
- Teach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows, including participation in the formal curriculum.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical programs in obstetrics and gynecology or a subspecialty of Ob/Gyn.
- Engage in collaborative and interdisciplinary research, working closely with faculty and staff across the university.
Requirements:
- MD or MD/PhD degree.
- Established record of independent or collaborative extramural funding.
- High-impact publications and a strong national/international reputation.
- Experience in teaching, mentoring, and leadership.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Midcareer faculty member with a strong track record of research and teaching excellence.
- Experience in departmental or institutional leadership.
- Strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
