Job Overview

Position: F02 Security Officer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensures vigilant monitoring and safeguarding of assigned locations and boundaries.
  • Observes and documents incidents while fulfilling client expectations.
  • Reports any security breaches through established protocols.
  • Utilizes the company’s scheduling system for accurate shift management.
  • Assesses and reacts to alerts in the vicinity with professionalism and adherence to company guidelines.
  • Notifies the Supervisor on Duty when escalation is necessary according to company procedures.
  • Provides assistance to fellow security personnel in de-escalation situations as per company standards.
  • Implements fire prevention measures, conducts property patrols, and manages incident documentation.
  • Commits to ensuring the safety and security of clients, visitors, and property with diligence and respect.
  • Follows all company service and operational standards.
  • Performs additional duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • Possession of a valid NYS Security Guard License.
  • Current F-02 Certification (Certificate of Fitness for Fire Guard).
  • At least 6 months of experience in a security role.
  • Completion of the 16-hour On-the-Job Training class mandated by NYS Licensing Division.
  • Valid CPR-AED certification is advantageous.
  • Demonstrates an exceptional work ethic.

Compensation: $17.17/hour
