Job Title: DCAA Controller

We are seeking a highly skilled DCAA Controller to join our team at DT Professional Services. As a DCAA Controller, you will be responsible for maintaining a DCAA compliant accounting system, preparing incurred cost submissions, and ensuring compliance with FAR and DCAA regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a DCAA compliant accounting system and prepare incurred cost submissions for DCAA submission
  • Implement internal processes and controls to eliminate risk and ensure compliance
  • Responsible for project setup and proper revenue recognition for multiple contract types
  • Prepare incurred cost submissions on a timely basis for submission to DCAA
  • Prepare invoices and supporting schedules as required by government clients
  • Reconcile unbilled receivables on a monthly basis
  • Support all accounting operations, including accounts receivable/billing, collections, accounts payable, financial reporting and analysis, policy and procedures, and GAAP compliance
  • Perform secondary review of expense report accounts payable vouchers to ensure FAR compliance
  • Support month-end and annual general ledger close process
  • Support year-end financial audit process, including interaction with external auditors
  • Prepare timely and accurate financial statements, including consolidation
Requirements:
  • Government contracting industry experience with a solid understanding of federal contracts, full accrual accounting, and FAR and DCAA compliance requirements
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification
  • 3+ years of DCAA and financial management experience in the federal marketplace
  • 1+ years of hands-on experience with Deltek Costpoint
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with developing and submitting PBRs
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience processing and submitting ICE reports to DCAA
  • Hands-on experience with CPFF/Cost Plus Contracts
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and formulas
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • High attention to detail, organization, time management, and self-motivation
  • Experience with hands-on accounting for small to medium-sized businesses and ability to roll up sleeves to get things done
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with ADP Workforce Now
  • BS Degree in Accounting or Finance
