Position Summary

We are seeking a Project Engineer to spearhead the establishment of a state-of-the-art truck electrification facility. The Project Engineer will oversee vendor selection and project management activities essential for showcasing the core functionalities of Jaro's innovative electrification approach, with the goal of iterating and expanding to multiple deployments.

Key Qualifications
  • Strong engineering fundamentals with a solid understanding of high-power, high-voltage systems.
  • Proven experience in deploying high-voltage equipment successfully in practical settings.
  • Background in early-stage startups, demonstrating the ability to achieve outstanding results in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
  • Exceptional communication skills, enabling proactive and efficient cross-functional collaboration to deliver high-quality outcomes aligned with the company's evolving needs.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with company leadership to develop a foundational system design.
  • Engage with equipment vendors and scaling partners to assess technical specifications.
  • Work closely with suppliers and partners to implement high-voltage equipment in the field.
  • Conduct pilot testing of high-voltage equipment to meet specific business requirements and customer needs.
  • Uphold stringent safety standards in processes, practices, and workplace culture.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key deployment partners, representing company values effectively in the field.
  • Create and utilize lightweight project management tools, including Gantt charts and risk management trackers.
  • Support the company's technical roadmap for future deployments.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 25-50% of the time.
  • Anticipate rapid evolution and growth within the role.
