We are seeking a skilled Grill Cook to join our culinary team at Bluebird Hunter Lodge. As a Grill Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking menu items to the highest standards of quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to standard recipes and presentation specifications
  • Ensure that quality food is supplied by adhering to specified storage and waste control requirements for meats, vegetables, fruits, and dairy products
  • Clean and sanitize all workstations, including counters, utensils, cooking equipment, and the refrigerator, in accordance with health and safety regulations
  • Prepare food products and execute dishes meeting the standards of the Hotel Management, ensuring that food production is coordinated with meal hours so that the quality, temperature, and appearance of food are preserved
  • Ability to safely operate kitchen equipment including, but not limited to, ovens, stoves, dishwashers, slicers, steamers, mixers, and chef's knives

Requirements:

  • Must be able to meet all safety and sanitation requirements of kitchen equipment and food storage
  • Previous experience working in food service is preferred
  • Candidates must have completed high school or received similar certification such as a GED
  • Candidates must be hardworking, detail-oriented, and have a strong work ethic
  • Display excellent communication and interpersonal skills with customers and coworkers
