Position Overview:

Cypress Healthcare Partners is seeking a dedicated Radiologic Technologist to join our team.

Role Summary:

Under the guidance of the Clinic Manager, the Radiologic Technologist will conduct essential radiological examinations and supervise the x-ray production by fellow staff members. This role also involves maintaining accurate records and facilitating consultations with radiologists.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure compliance with the Radiology Policy and Procedure program, keeping all documentation current and in line with regulatory standards.
  • Maintain x-ray equipment according to manufacturer specifications, scheduling routine maintenance as needed.
  • Implement radiation safety practices to minimize exposure for patients and staff.
  • Conduct all necessary x-ray examinations efficiently.
  • Assist with patient intake and discharge processes.
  • Manage inventory of x-ray supplies, coordinating orders with the Clinic Manager.
  • Generate and distribute CD copies of x-ray exams upon request.
  • Prepare and sterilize equipment and instruments for use.
  • Respond to phone inquiries and follow up as directed by the Clinic Manager.
  • Maintain supply levels for medical and pharmaceutical needs, preparing orders for review.
  • Ensure cleanliness of treatment areas between patient visits.
  • Participate in mandatory staff meetings and training sessions.

Qualifications:

To excel in this role, candidates must demonstrate proficiency in the essential duties outlined. Reasonable accommodations will be considered for individuals with disabilities. Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is preferred. Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office and internet navigation, are required.


Education and Experience:

Completion of a state-certified Radiology Technology program is required. Previous experience in a medical clinic setting as a radiologic technologist is advantageous.


Licenses and Certifications:
  • Valid CRT (California) certification
  • ARRT certification
  • CPR certification
  • Fluoroscopy Permit (California)

Service Orientation: Prioritize patient satisfaction and provide professional support, explaining procedures clearly to alleviate patient concerns.


Professional Attitude: Maintain a positive and empathetic demeanor towards patients, ensuring effective communication with colleagues.


Language Proficiency: Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interpret safety guidelines and procedure manuals.
