Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Unit Secretary to join our team at Siri InfoSolutions Inc.

Job Summary:

The Unit Secretary will serve as the primary point of contact for patients, families, and healthcare providers, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support to ensure seamless communication and care coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the patient care team, including scheduling appointments, managing medical records, and coordinating patient care activities.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure accurate and timely information exchange.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical history, test results, and treatment plans.
  • Assist with data entry, reporting, and other administrative tasks as needed.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in healthcare administration or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a unit secretary or medical office assistant role.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and technical skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in electronic medical records systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with medical terminology and coding.
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
