We are seeking an experienced Operations Planning Director to join our team at Eastern Shipbuilding Group. As a key member of our planning and scheduling department, you will play a critical role in ensuring that all projects are completed on time and within budget.
Your primary responsibilities will include managing the day-to-day activities of the planning and scheduling department, developing and maintaining accurate project schedules using Primavera P6 and other scheduling tools, collaborating with the program manager and business manager to develop and implement project plans, and providing training and guidance to team members.
You will also be responsible for identifying and resolving complex scheduling issues, working collaboratively with stakeholders to find solutions. Your analytical and problem-solving skills will enable you to navigate complex project timelines and identify areas for improvement.
To be successful in this role, you must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, managers, and clients. Your attention to detail will ensure that all aspects of the job are executed accurately.
