Groundskeeper IV

We are seeking a skilled Groundskeeper IV to join our team at the Texas Dept of Health and Human Services. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for maintaining the grounds and ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our staff and visitors.

• Maintain grounds using rotary and riding lawn equipment, electric edgers, and hand tools.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and grounds-keeping equipment to ensure a well-manicured and safe environment.
• Assist with the installation and repair of sprinkler systems, pesticide application, and other grounds-keeping tasks.
• Use safety equipment and follow safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-2 years of experience in grounds-keeping or a related field.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
