Key Responsibilities- Assist residents with personal care activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Encourage socialization and engagement among residents, promoting a sense of community and belonging.
- Support residents with cognitive and physical health needs, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and colleagues, maintaining confidentiality and respecting resident autonomy.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of care plans that meet individual resident needs.
- Adhere to infection control procedures and maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Report any changes in resident health or behavior to the supervisor or nurse.
- Assist with laundry, cleaning, and other tasks as assigned.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
- CPR/First Aid certifications current.
- Completion of state-approved Caregiver program.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect resident autonomy.
- Physical ability to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and lifting.
