Speech Language Pathologist Opportunity at Life Care Center of Sandpoint.

The ideal candidate will be a graduate of an accredited program in speech therapy with ASHA certification or eligibility for the Clinical Fellowship Year. Current registration or licensure in the state is also required, as well as CPR certification. One year of experience in post-acute care is preferred but not necessary. The selected individual must be able to establish, assess, and modify treatment plans for patients, while also overseeing and evaluating care given by CFYs. They will chart appropriately, utilize therapy software accurately, and exhibit excellent customer service skills. A dependable work ethic, ability to communicate effectively on an interdisciplinary team, and adherence to company policies are essential requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide direct rehab care in speech therapy to patients upon physician referral in accordance with laws, regulations, and Life Care standards
• Participate in community health matters and projects as appropriate
• Liaison with patients, families, support departments, etc., to plan for patient needs
• Implement and interpret programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures of the department
• Maintain professional working relationships and confidentiality of proprietary information
• Demonstrate integrity and professionalism by adhering to Life Care's Code of Conduct

Requirements:
• Graduate of an accredited program in speech therapy (minimum MS or MA SLP)
• ASHA certified (CCCs) or eligible for 9-month Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
• Currently registered/licensed in applicable State
• One year experience in post-acute care or related setting (preferred)

Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $90,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and location.
