Job Title: Corporate Tax Staff Accountant
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Tax Staff Accountant to join our team at Bandai Namco Toys & Collectibles America Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing US federal consolidated corporate income tax returns, state income and franchise tax returns, and relevant workpapers. This role will also involve preparing quarterly estimated income tax and extension calculations, processing tax payments, and assisting in the preparation of the income tax provision calculations.
Responsibilities:
* Prepare US federal consolidated corporate income tax returns (Form 1120) and state income and franchise tax returns and relevant workpapers, including book-tax adjustments, state apportionment workpapers, and consolidation workpapers.
* Prepare quarterly estimated income tax and extension calculations.
* Process tax payments in a timely manner.
* Prepare/assist quarterly and annual income tax provision calculations under ASC740.
* Prepare/assist responses to various tax notices and tax audit information requests as needed.
* Prepare tax sharing schedule/calculations pursuant to the internal tax sharing agreement annually for the group companies.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, tax, or other relevant discipline.
* At least three (3) years of related experience in public accounting, preferably Big 4 or a mix of public and industry.
* High level of proficiency in OneSource or similar tax return preparation software.
* Intermediate level of proficiency in tax research on CCH, RIA, or BNA.
* Intermediate level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
* Strong analytical skills and ability to read tax laws of various tax jurisdictions.
