Job Summary

As a Workwear Specialty Shop Manager at SCHEELS, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, meeting sales goals, and maintaining a high level of product knowledge. You will work closely with the sales team to ensure a seamless shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Meet or exceed personal sales goals while delivering exceptional customer service
  • Be knowledgeable about products, including location, price, and use
  • Follow instructions for specific customer requests while maintaining safety requirements
  • Analyze sales reports and make decisions about inventory, merchandise arrangement, and sales trends
  • Stock shelves, tables, and counters with merchandise while maintaining a visually appealing store environment
  • Communicate effectively with vendors and outside sales representatives
  • Train associates on product knowledge and sales techniques
  • Prepare for and facilitate product knowledge and sales meetings
  • Attend weekly sales and product knowledge training meetings
  • Contribute to a positive team atmosphere and treat others with respect and consideration

Education and Experience

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, 1-3 months of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Physical Requirements

The position requires the ability to sit, stand, bend, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push/pull, lift, talk, and hear with or without reasonable accommodation.
