Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our team at Philip Weintraub's private practice on the Upper East Side. The ideal candidate will have proficiency in phlebotomy and be able to work effectively with patients.

Salary Information

The estimated annual salary for this position is around $45,000 - $55,000, depending on experience.

Responsibilities
  • Assist physicians with patient care and medical procedures
  • Perform phlebotomy tasks and other laboratory duties
  • Conduct EKGs, stress testing, cardiac rhythm monitoring, and pulmonary function studies under supervision
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; certification as a medical assistant preferred
  • 1-2 years of experience in a medical setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
