Job Title: Sales Associate

At Chico's FAS, we're committed to providing an exceptional customer experience. As a Sales Associate, you'll play a key role in delivering this experience by providing personalized service, product knowledge, and a welcoming atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive sales growth by utilizing effective sales techniques and communicating product knowledge to customers.
  • Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions, as well as pricing and visual standards.
  • Ensure merchandise handling, presentation, and loss prevention standards are met.
  • Participate in visual directives, including monthly store sets and zone maintenance.
Customer Experience:
  • Model and promote the Most Amazing Personal Service (MAPS) principles and standards, offering a cohesive omni-channel experience.
  • Ensure prompt resolution of customer concerns.
  • Provide a fast and efficient register experience, remaining current on policies regarding payments, coupon acceptance, returns, and exchanges.
  • Reinforce buying decisions at the checkout and achieve add-on goals, including gift card sales.
  • Sign up clients for the reward program.
  • Build and maintain a solid customer following through clienteling and wardrobing.
  • Maintain consistent client communication through the utilization of customer books.
Operational Excellence:
  • Support replenishment activities to keep the store full and abundant.
  • Assist with locate fulfillment.
  • Assist with visual directives, including floor sets, window changes, visual presentations, signage placement, etc., as directed.
  • Assist with boutique cleanliness and organization.
Teamwork and Growth:
  • Promote an inclusive, collaborative approach to problem-solving.
  • Seek personal developmental opportunities and solicit feedback.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Retail or sales experience preferred.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Able to learn or adapt to technology provided by the company.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to communicate with customers, associates, and management.
  • Regular attendance is essential to this position, with the ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Requirements:

  • Constant walking/standing (8-hour shift).
  • Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs. (1-33% of 8-hour shift).
  • Frequent climbing (34%-66% of 8-hour shift).

The wage range for this position is $16.00 to $20.00, with successful candidates' wage rates determined based on individual qualifications.
