Our client, a leading organization in the field of cybersecurity, is seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Architect Senior (6-9) - Zero Trust Expert to join their team. Located in Culpeper, VA, this role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the evolution of Zero Trust security architecture.
Description
This position, reporting directly to the Global Security department, plays a critical role in driving and implementing Zero Trust access at scale across various products and platforms in hybrid, cloud, and on-premises environments. The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing and developing endpoint and network security toolsets to support the adoption of Zero Trust security models. Additionally, they will collaborate with IT Infrastructure, Cloud Technologies, and Enterprise Services teams to build the Zero Trust architecture and supporting infrastructure that enables secure access to company resources.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, maintain, and enhance endpoint and network security toolset to support adoption of Zero Trust security model.
- Develop the core architecture to implement a policy-driven security model at scale across hybrid environments, and enable automated detection of threats.
- Evaluate different SASE technologies and support the integration and implementation of a technology solution that aligns with the company's Zero Trust strategy.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or Computer Science and/or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Five years of professional hands-on IT experience within the domain areas of endpoint security and network security.
- Experience with implementing Zero Trust at scale across hybrid environments.
- Expert knowledge of SASE, CASB, ZTNA, SWG technologies.
- Strong security background, especially in the fields of network security, cloud security, and data loss prevention.
