Job Summary

The Paraprofessional will play a key role in implementing engaging academic enrichment activities for students in our Reaching Higher Afterschool Program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage and assist students during academic enrichment activities
  • Provide support for individualized tutoring and homework assistance
  • Manage students in a safe and productive way
  • Cultivate positive relationships with students, families, and fellow staff
  • Attend all mandatory meetings and complete required paperwork
  • Participate in 18 hours of professional development per year
Requirements

High school diploma/GED, demonstrated knowledge of youth, and at least 2 years of experience working with youth in a structured program setting are required.

A person of good character who possesses the health, emotional stability, maturity, and strength to carry out assigned duties is essential.
