Role Overview:
We are currently seeking a skilled Refrigeration Service Specialist to join our growing team. This role is essential in ensuring the optimal performance of refrigeration and ice machine systems for our clients.

Compensation:
Annual earnings range from $60,000 to $115,000, commensurate with experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Travel to various client locations to troubleshoot and repair refrigeration and ice machine systems.
  • Maintain accurate documentation for all service activities.
  • Work closely with the Parts Department to ensure timely identification and ordering of necessary components.
  • Execute professional installation of parts as required.
  • Keep service vehicles organized and well-stocked with tools and parts.
  • Communicate effectively with manufacturers, sales representatives, dealers, and clients.
  • Identify service issues, collect relevant information, and develop effective solutions.
  • Collaborate with manufacturers for equipment diagnostics when necessary.
  • Deliver exceptional service and clearly articulate service needs to clients.
  • Promote additional services offered by JWS to clients when appropriate.

Physical Requirements:
This position involves physical activity, including but not limited to walking, standing, driving, sitting, squatting, kneeling, reaching overhead, bending, twisting, and turning throughout an 8-hour workday. Candidates should be prepared for travel between client sites for service visits.

Qualifications:
  • EPA certification with a strong focus on safety practices.
  • Ability to navigate stairs and ladders.
  • Strong multitasking skills and adaptability to various tasks.
  • Commitment to customer satisfaction and understanding.
  • High School diploma or GED and a valid driver's license.
  • Capability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Proficient in the use of hand tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to complete tasks with minimal supervision.
  • At least 5 years of experience in refrigeration or related fields.
  • Strong organizational skills and a proactive, team-oriented approach.
