Position Overview:
The role is pivotal in delivering analytical insights, performance reporting, and project management assistance within the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Division. The primary emphasis is on facilitating activities related to ERM, performance reporting, special initiatives, and aiding in the preparation and evaluation of materials for both internal and external stakeholders.
This position offers substantial exposure and necessitates exceptional communication and presentation abilities, collaborating with various departments as part of a cross-functional team.
Reporting Structure:
This role reports to the Senior Vice President of ERM and provides necessary support to the Operational Risk Resiliency and Third-party Risk Management teams in achieving ERM's strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver analytical support to the ERM leadership to ensure timely and accurate risk reporting, analysis, and insights for stakeholders.
- Assist in the coordination, development, and distribution of materials related to Risk Assessment and Action Committee, Operational Risk Committee, and enterprise performance reporting.
- Work collaboratively with stakeholders and risk owners to ensure risk and performance reports are timely, precise, meaningful, and interpretable.
- Generate routine and ad hoc detailed risk and performance reports, identifying trends and insights from the data.
- Engage in cross-functional team initiatives, providing assistance to Operational Resiliency and Third-party Risk Management teams as required.
- Identify and propose process improvement strategies.
- Develop and execute projects related to risk assessment and mitigation, including plans, schedules, and meetings.
- Create and maintain documentation, including policies, procedures, and process documentation as directed by ERM leadership.
- Utilize visualization tools and techniques to create dashboards and reports that support risk-informed decision-making across the organization.
- Bachelor's degree in any business discipline.
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently while meeting deadlines and achieving desired outcomes.
- Proactive in identifying, discussing, and addressing risk issues at an executive level with a risk management perspective.
- Collaborative approach to working with employees at various levels across different departments.
- Independent worker in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating a proven track record of timely and organized task completion with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of discussing Third-Party risk management and performance issues in business terminology.
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.
- Robust knowledge of data analytics, data management, and data reporting is essential.
