The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and maintaining the sterile field, participating in maintaining the readiness of the Operating Room, and demonstrating accountability for own self-development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Functions in the scrub role on surgical procedures as a member of the surgical team
  • Preparation and maintenance of the sterile field
  • Participates in maintaining the readiness of the Operating Room
  • Maintains professional work environment
  • Demonstrates accountability for own self-development
Requirements:
  • Graduate from an accredited Surgical Technologist Program
  • Certified Surgical Technologist certification from the NBSTSA (National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting) within 90 days of hire
  • Ability to work well with internal and external customers
  • Fine motor skills
  • Ability to wear a surgical mask and gloves
  • Auditory skills which allow incumbent to hear individuals whose speech may be muffled
  • CPR certified
