Qualifications & Experience:

  • Preferred prior experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to engage positively with colleagues, tenants, contractors, and the public.
  • Effective verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Familiarity with basic hand tools such as socket sets, wrenches, pliers, screwdrivers, saws, and hammers.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols relevant to commercial facilities is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond to, prioritize, and complete assigned work orders through the work order tracking system.
  • Coordinate and communicate with the Facility Services team as needed.
  • Adhere to all relevant codes, regulations, and company policies related to building operations while practicing safe work habits.
  • Manage waste disposal in common areas and tenant spaces as required.
  • Inspect and maintain restroom fixtures for functionality and cleanliness.
  • Dust and clean all restroom surfaces, including partitions and furnishings.
  • Wipe down vanities, dispose of trash, and replenish paper supplies in restrooms.
  • Clean and polish wall finishes, wood, metal, and glass surfaces in common areas.
  • Vacuum and mop restroom, lobby, and common area floors as necessary.
  • Collect litter from exterior grounds, sweep entrance areas, and empty trash receptacles as needed.
  • Assist with snow removal at building entry points as required.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to uniform standards.
Physical Requirements:
The physical demands outlined here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the Facility Maintenance Attendant:
  • Frequent bending, pushing/pulling, constant walking, and occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs.
  • Capability to ascend and descend stairs and ladders.
