Albany Medical Center is seeking a motivated and energetic Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our dedicated team of healthcare providers in our Internal Medicine office.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care and assist in clinical functions under the direction of the attending physician, RN, Lead LPN, or practice coordinator.
  • Obtain and accurately record patient vital signs, document patient history, and communicate effectively with patients, visitors, and staff.
  • Participate in in-office procedures, perform diagnostic CLIA waived testing, and perform venipuncture to obtain blood for lab testing.
  • Prescription call-backs, prep patient charts, maintain inventory of supplies, and keep patient examination rooms stocked.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma/G.E.D. required.
  • LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse - State Licensure Upon Hire required.
  • Previous experience in a patient care setting preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Working Conditions:
  • Standing - Constantly.
  • Walking - Constantly.
  • Sitting - Rarely.
  • Lifting - Frequently.
  • Carrying - Frequently.
