We are seeking a highly skilled System Administrator for network and firewall solutions to join our team at Emerald Enterprises.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, install, configure, and maintain various systems and platforms, including network systems, controller-based WLAN systems, and firewalls from different providers.
- Design and operate secure systems and networks, ensuring the highest level of security and compliance.
- Work on security architectures in the areas of internet access, email, and networks, identifying and mitigating potential risks.
- Operate collaboration systems, including video systems and WebEx, to facilitate communication and teamwork.
- Conduct risk analyses and evaluations for handling vulnerabilities and conceptual issues, creating documentation based on internal and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with other teams and projects to advise on the use of collaboration tools and shape processes and guidelines in an evolving environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a comparable IT education.
- Practical experience in network and firewall solutions, with a strong understanding of secure systems and networks.
- Knowledge of Linux servers, internet proxies, and internet email, as well as associated protocols.
- Intrinsic motivation for constant development and a self-organized approach to work.
