Job Title: Property Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Property Maintenance Technician to join our team at Coastal Mountain Home Buyers. As a Property Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on our residential properties, ensuring they are safe and well-maintained for our clients.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment and systems to ensure they are operating efficiently and make any necessary repairs.
  • Plan and implement preventative maintenance procedures to maximize equipment operations and minimize safety risks.
  • Perform a variety of maintenance and repair tasks in residential properties, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and general handyman duties.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues in residential structures and systems.
  • Conduct routine inspections to identify potential problems and address them promptly.
  • Install, repair, and maintain household fixtures, appliances, and equipment.
  • Respond to client service requests promptly and professionally, ensuring exceptional customer service.
  • Keep records of work performed and materials used for each job.
  • Assist in the procurement of necessary materials and supplies for projects.
  • Adhere to safety guidelines and best practices while performing tasks.
  • Perform preventive maintenance.
  • Be on call to respond to emergency maintenance requests.
Qualifications:
  • Strong understanding of maintenance equipment, techniques, and procedures.
  • Flexible availability for on-call maintenance requests on nights and weekends.
  • At least 2 years of maintenance experience.
  • Must have graduated from high school/received GED or equivalent.
  • Excellent work ethic, communication skills, time management skills, and attention to detail.
  • 2 years of maintenance experience preferred.
  • Able to perform a variety of maintenance duties with skill.
  • Adapt to handling preventative maintenance, basic repairs, cosmetic upkeep, and simple appliance installation.
  • Proficiency in multiple areas such as plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and general repairs.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Basic knowledge and ability to operate power tools and equipment used in maintenance and repairs.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
  • Physical strength and stamina to handle demanding tasks.
  • Certifications in relevant trades are a plus.
Requirements:
  • At least 1 year of experience in maintenance.
  • Must live in Lee County.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Compensation:

$18 - $25 hourly.
